Impressions Care Solutions offers a range of services dedicated to supporting children and young people who are unable to live with their families due to various challenges such as abuse, neglect, or family breakdown. Our residential facilities provide a safe and nurturing environment staffed by caring professionals, including qualified social workers, experienced youth workers, and support staff.

Our homes cater to young people aged 12 to 18 with a range of complex needs, including social and emotional difficulties, attachment disorder, and experiences of trauma and abuse. Placements are usually arranged through direct referrals from local authorities, and we offer various placement options, including short or long-term respite placements and emergency placements.

Person Centred Support

At Impressions Care Solutions, we prioritize the involvement of young people in decision-making processes regarding their care. We encourage them to actively participate in reviews and design their own Pathway Plans, empowering them to take control of their behaviour, development, and future.

We value feedback from young people and actively seek their suggestions to enhance our services and meet their needs more effectively. We take complaints seriously and ensure that all instances of dissatisfaction, including reports of bullying or staff-related issues, are addressed promptly.

Stable Environment

Our overarching goal is to provide young people with a stable and comfortable home environment where they receive high levels of support and guidance. We focus on helping them develop the necessary skills to transition smoothly to independence and adulthood. Therapeutic input is integral to our support services, with all staff trained in developmental trauma and therapeutic parenting.

Independence Skills

Additionally, our Independence Skills Builder program equips young people with essential life skills for independent living. We prioritize their emotional wellbeing and promote a healthy lifestyle, including nutritious meals and access to healthcare services.

Support

Support is available 24/7, delivered by a trained staff team that provides personalized care and emotional support. Each young person has a named key worker who ensures individualized attention and support tailored to their needs.

Education, Training & Employment

Furthermore, we emphasize the importance of education, training, and employment opportunities for young people. We support their educational progress and achievement, offer vocational training, and collaborate with local employers to facilitate job placements.

Through our comprehensive range of services, we strive to empower young people to fulfill their potential and lead fulfilling lives as they transition into adulthood.
